Step 1: Register as a Taxi Driver

Before you can begin, you'll need to officially register your occupation with the city.

Head over to City Hall
Approach the Job Center kiosk inside
Select "Taxi Driver" from the list of available jobs
Confirm your registration

Once you've signed on, you’ll be authorized to access the tools of the trade.

Step 2: Head to the Taxi Depot

Now that you’re a licensed cabbie, it’s time to grab your vehicle.

Make your way to the Taxi Depot, marked on your GPS
Interact with the vehicle spawn point to check out a taxi
Your vehicle will be assigned to you—keep it clean and try not to wreck it

Step 3: Starting the Job

Time to get to work.

Get in your taxi
Open your Radial Menu by pressing [CAPS]
Navigate to "Job", then select "Start Job"
A GPS route will appear, guiding you to your first customer

Step 4: Pick Up the Passenger

Drive safely (or don’t—just don’t get caught) to the marked location
Pull up close to the passenger NPC
Wait for them to get into your vehicle
A new destination will appear on your GPS once they’re inside

Step 5: Activate the Taxi Meter

Time is money—and now it’s your money.

While the passenger is in the car, open the Radial Menu [CAPS] again
Go to "Job"
Select "Toggle Taxi Meter" to start the fare

📈 The meter will begin running, calculating the fare based on distance and time.
❗ Make sure to turn it on, or you're driving for free!

Step 6: Drop Off and Get Paid

Follow the GPS to the drop-off point
Once you arrive, the passenger will exit the vehicle
You’ll receive a payment based on the fare shown on the meter
